So here are my 5 levels of busyness. Just to clarify something.
Level 1. I am doing okay. I can have a few msn chat. Walk a little slower. Have 2 hours for reading. Play a game. Have a meal with friends. And finish my job. Just flexible for others.
Level 2. I only respond to msn that are urgent, no chatting. Scan through my to do list and respond the urgent first. Often do things that win-win situation. Hit 2 birds with one stone. Eat alone. And finish more jobs. Just focus.
Level 3. I work offline on the msn. By this time, I have dozen of things to do. Hit 6 birds with one stone and get more people to hit with me too. Eat at office. And finish more x more jobs. Sometimes stay overnight. And most time skipped meals. Needless to say, I won’t have meals with friends or movie at ALL.
Level 4. I call it Zombie-lized. When the Level 3 keeps pushing up, the stress and pressure is amount. I start to talk non-sense. Unconscious of daylight or night time. I eat as long as I need. No reading, even if I found myself have 10 mins spared but most probably I’ll fall asleep, just a nap. I will stay overnight in office, or at least not at home. Needless to say, bath and change is minimum, I say minimum. The schedule is back to back fills with all meetings, practice, rehearsal, jobs and everything. Sleepy and tired. Often unconscious of the traffic when I walk on the road. I try to keep myself in the building at these times. Coz there was a few dangerous events happened. And I have an amazing ability called sleep in 3 counts.
Level 5. COMA. Hospitalized. That’s too late. Only hope that you’ve done your job. And what is the point. Haha. Actually, it means you sleep for 20 hours after something is done. An event or project. You don’t know when is day or night. You’ll just sleep and go without food.
