It was fine from the beginning. It didn't bother me and I didn't bother about it. It's actually look natural. But it become problematic. I've tried to ignore it. Yet, I can't run away from it.
New friend No. 1: Where are you studying?
Me: No, I'm working actually.
New Friend No. 1: Ha? Really?
I get this same question every week. Or whenever I being introduce to a new friend. In some occasion, I get bombarded many many times by the same question. So I invented new answer.
New Friend No.333: So... where are you studying?
Me: Er... no, I'm not studying.
New Friend No. 333: So what are you doing? Working?
Me: Ermm.. ya.a... (Look embarrassed)
New Friend No. 333: (Felt like asking the wrong question)
Me: I aaactually working already...
New Friend No. 333: Aww..
Me: Ya... life's tough... family cannot support. Have to work.
New Friend No. 333: Is okay, you can get ahead better than other. More experience.
Me: Erm. Well. I actually completed my diploma already.
New Friend No. 333: HA!? What!?
(Suddenly New Friend No. 333 become the most confusing person in the world... so as New Friend No. 334, 335, 336 and so forth.)
Hahaha~! I'm having fun looking at these reaction all the time. I love surprises. I guess there're still many New Friend thinking I'm a student. I pray they'll forgive me. But true, there are still some New Friendss trying to update my life asking: How's your college man? Which turns out another embarrasses situation. Aiyo.
My wisdom and knowledge has grown. I've matured from all difficulties that any students and working adult can experienced. My attitude refined and character molded. When I look at students and younger one struggling. I just smile and remember how I went through the same stuff or probably the harder version. My inside has grown but my outside did not follow. Standing beside any growing testerone-fueled youngster. We're look alike but the different was my eyes beaming with confident about myself and Life.
Sometime is funny to note ladies probably same age like me thinking I'm a younger brother. To think about 30s. I don't like having tummy and looks sloppy. I'll definitely keep going with my workout and being fashionable.
So that's who I am. Blessed to lives like an Elf.
