Since the starting of this year. In my new effort, I've finally catch up with some very very old friends. I met them when I first came to KL, there are a couple lives in Australia and get married there. Another one, growing stronger and happier in Singapore each day (and received lots of flower during Valentine). I haven't met them for a few years now, really miss them heaps. Sweet little memories start to slip in every single moment when my mind’s pending from work. I learn, we have grown up and being a better person in every ways. So much mature and yet retain the same personality. I also imagine there will be many "what if" when we'll meet up one day.
I guess it will be a heartfelt "How are you?" I realized people who ask "How are you?" are mostly from one who really care. Maybe some acquaintance will ask too. But you'll have to give a real answer this round. They want to know what happen in between our last meeting and now. I used to be a lazy friend who just says "I'm fine". But I find sometimes it is very unappreciated when I got the "I'm fine" answer too. So, I'll learn to go beyond "I'm fine". I'll learn.
It was funny. I have many people asking me am I still going to church? I mean... MANY. So sorry I was hibernated. Maybe because I've become a "Cap Man" lately? Walking around like Michael Scofield? ;p But thank you for the "How are you?”. I feel warm inside. Here are my 2 options to answer you. It depends on am I thirsty at that moment or not.
"I'm fine la. Sorry, Loong kor have some business in China la. A bit busy. Lu hor boh?" (rude)
Or
"I'm fine. You look great! How are you doing?"
