just do it [undated]

I imagine if there's some web designer or coder can design an interface that can evolves over time, say like growing weeds or spider webs? I'll be adopting one, for this blog. :p

After a whirlwind of sickness and disease. And then comes along busyness. In between of all that, I went shooting with my neighbor.

I recall that day(s) I was very tired and sick. Old wisdom is right, "time of trial" will test your love for a subject or a person. So I went anyway in the name of passion and being helpful to my neighbor's assignment. Of cos, it was very fun with lotsa embarrassing moments filling the page.

So here's the shot.

Lesson learned (you can ignore this):
1. On landscape - should use wide angle lens. (Not a lesson actually, but more like a craving)
2. On pano - Shoot vertical.
3. On pano - Turn off auto-focus
4. On landscape - Aperture should be F8/F11 for tack sharp image and to work around with available Fstop offer by the len at that time.

We take another chance on Eye On Malaysia.

You wouldn't have thought I actually stand there with my hand up over 30s? Would you? How embarrassing when people walking pass looking at me... But that's what I have in mind and just overexcited that I can finally whack the camera's shutter to 30s which I normally can't do with the P&S. Again, another thing we learn that night. We should have back up batteries. So, we went home early... argh... But in my mind, I want an ultra wide angle len!! (maybe I should put a bubble saying "where's my wide angle len?") Haha.

Here's my neighbor's account on the same event. I still have some unfinish business with these photographs, those overexpose blinkies are not looking good. I will update it again once I got it right. And also learn to do it right during the shoot next time instead of fixing things later on.

So I'll be bringing a heavy briefcase fully loaded with money to trade in a D80 today. Tag along by some Jackie Chan type body guards too. Guess that I'll pass another "time of trial", I've decided to rob the bank... I mean my own account.

Updated: I don't think think I'll fix the blinkies. Looking at the shot now it's not that awesome anyway. I have great improvement after all.
